Projects have been conducted both nationally and internationally in the United States, Mexico, the Middle East, the United Kingdom, Central and South America, and northern Africa. These projects have included physical oceanographic and coastal engineering studies, marine ecological surveys, geotechnical investigations, environmental impact assessments, information syntheses, guidance document preparation, and conservation program design and implementation. In addition, CE is a trade representative (Agent) for several oceanographic instrumentation firms and has many colleagues who serve as technical advisors available to assist in the implementation of various field studies.
CE routinely coordinates with local regulatory agencies and has developed excellent relationships with these agencies that is essential in gaining project acceptance involving permitting issues. Our staff have coordinated with staff at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; California Coastal Commission; Regional Water Quality Control Board; California Department of Fish and Game; and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
